Today being Presidents’ Day, I noticed a picture of Mt. Rushmore in the newspaper. It sure seems like there is room for one or two additional faces. Below are a few proposals. Cast your vote soon, and often!
My guess is that nearly everyone photoed below is both deliriously happy this morning but also considerably sleep-deprived. In case you need a hint, they all dwell in the state of Maryland, and many from Baltimore proper. Congratulations are in order.
The brief essay below points to some of the Kingswood traditions certain to be repeated in summer 2013. And, best of all, just about every boy pictured will be there for all the action.
We are very nicely ahead of last year’s pace. Just about every boy photoed below has enrolled or, at least, has indicated the intention of doing so! One cannot help but chuckle at the thought of all these amusing creatures gracing the grounds of Kingswood come next summer.
Kingswood is NOT an all-sports camp. Music plays a significant part of every day at camp. As we dwell on the contributions of Dave Brubeck to the American Jazz culture, take a peek at Kingswood boys on their instruments: ”Good Camp”, as I am fond of saying.
